Three public events in February
- We are so lucky to have Aleida Guevara with Sheffield based Palestinian Refugee Dr Sahar Awadallah, Wednesday Feb 5th, speaking about the importance of solidarity.
- The following Wednesday we will welcome once again Mahmoud Zahware who has forged deep solidarity roots in Sheffield who will talk about sustaining the land
- And in the same week on Friday 14th Sheffield Nablus Twinning Association will welcome speakers from Nablus.
We are looking for more people to join the Boycott stalks this Saturday, 8th between 12 and 2pm. There will be stalls at four locations in Sheffield with a table, banner and information about the consumer boycott. We will be focusing on coca cola and dates. There will be information about the brands of dates which are to be boycotted and also about sources of Palestinian dates.
Please come along to help at one of the stalls if you can. We hope to make this a regular event, and to spread more local stalls across the city. See flyer for locations.
Note: the London Rd stall will be at junction with Sharrow Lane (not Cemetery rd)
