The method is the same and so is the justification: wherever Israel is killing and expelling people, it always claims to be acting in self-defence and has to attack civilian targets because they are being used as human shields. Poor little, innocent Israel, armed to the teeth with the latest weapons by the US and its allies, is the eternal victim.
The bombardment of northern Gaza over last week killed over 300 people. Jabalya refugee camp was bombed repeatedly and no food and the IDF has not allowed water to reach that region since October 1st. The UN reports: “In the past two weeks, over 50,000 people have been displaced from the Jabalya area, which is cut off, while others remain stranded in their homes amid increased bombardment and fighting. A military siege that deprives civilians of essential means of survival is unacceptable.” Read more…
