Silent march remembers the prisoners

As part of taking up the Red Ribbons campaign, three hundred strong march walked silently through Sheffield on Saturday 18th April to stand with and remember the Palestinian prisoners and the trauma of their families.

At the rally in front of the Town Hall we heard moving testimony form two Palestinian doctors one of whom has recently visited Gaza and worked with medical teams there. she told us of one young Palestinian doctor who was imprisoned for seven months after having been made sit through the systematic crushing of four patients under an Israeli armoured vehicle in attempt to make her tell the invading forces where Hamas fighters were.

We also heard about the deadly attacks on Palestinian journalists documenting the genocide and who were considered to be priority targets by the Israeli Occupation Forces.
