Anyone who has ever marvelled at the smooth perfection of a child’s skin, will recoil from the terrible and totally deliberate suffering being inflicted by Israel – an ally of the UK – on the children of Gaza.
Bombs and bullets have shattered lives and limbs – and the destruction of all the infrastructure necessary for decent living brings other consequences as well. Now acute skin infections are rife, causing painful sores, open to infection. The World Health Organisation says that more than 150,000 cases of serious skin complaints have been recorded in Gaza, including scabies and impetigo. Read more…
