The news from Palestine sends very clear, indeed defiant, Israeli messages to the international community. It seems clear that Israel has no intention of implementing a real ceasefire in Gaza; that the genocidal war on Gaza is being extended to the West Bank, where ethnic cleansing and the expansion of illegal colonies is the order of the day and that the rulings of the ICJ on genocide, apartheid and occupation mean nothing to Israel.
And we know that this state of affairs will apply as long as the West (especially America and the UK) continue to be as indifferent to international law as Israel and remain determined to lend aid and assistance to a criminal regime.
