Cast your mind back to March this year: in just two short weeks, 7,500 people signed a Petition asking that Sheffield becomes an Apartheid Free Zone, as in 1981. Last week, finally, the Petition came up for debate and decision in the Strategy and Resources Committee.
Let’s start by saying that It’s not easy being a Councillor and doing the job well, as many do. The responsibility is very wide-ranging, with case work and the processing of large quantities of information for discussion, especially in important committees like Strategy and Resources.
