Dr Salman Abu Sitta a renowned archeologist and scholar has dedicated himself to documenting the systematic dispossession of Palestinian people and the covering up of this crime by compiling a series of atlas, the latest of which is entitled Atlas of Palestine: Land Theft by the Jewish National Fund
Sheffield activist, Annie O’Gara, has written a detailed and enlightening review of Dr Abu Sita’s work:
This newest atlas, Annie says, raises the central issues who stole that land and how did the JNF come to โownโ it?; and of rightful possession: which villages do those lands belong to, who lived there, and where are the scattered owners now?
