Blockade of Forge solutions

On 8th October about 200 people from Sheffield and Rotherham plus activists from Northampton, Calderdale, Lincoln and Chesterfield blockaded Forged Solutions and shut it down for a day.

Prior to that day, Forged Solutions sent a statement to National PSC claiming innocence but they did not cliam they did not make F35 parts nor that they had an open export licence.

We must continue to highlight the production of murderous weapons in Sheffield until such time as the conpanies involved change their production.

Earlier this year:

On the 17th of June 2025 Forged Solutions Group claimed that parts for F-35s fighter jet were not made on their sites in Sheffield.

However:
Forged Solutions Group are signed up to the Open General Export License for the F-35 Fighter Jet Lightning II

The supply chain for the F-35 Fighter jet is opaque – there is no way for the general public to find out which parts end up in Israeli fighter jets and which go elsewhere

At any time, F-35 parts made by Forged Solutions could end up in Israeli fighter jets as part of its genocide in Gaza.

As Campaign Against the Arms Trade has pointed out, Israel is currently using the F-35 fighter jet more than anyone else, so will need parts more than anyone else
